About the Event

PHAB and NAPHSIS will be providing virtual applicant training for state and territorial VRHS units interested in applying for accreditation in the next year. If you haven’t been able to attend before in person, this is your chance to attend a two-part virtual training!

On February 5 and February 12 from 12- 2 ET you’ll learn about the accreditation process, how to prepare your unit for accreditation, review the Standards and Measures, participate in a case study, and review PHAB and NAPHSIS resources available to you.

This two-part training is required for the Accreditation Coordinator (AC) of any state or territorial VRHS unit applying for accreditation. ACs are encouraged to invite one additional team member to participate to enhance preparation for accreditation. Eligible applicates for VRHS Accreditation include the 57 jurisdictional areas identified by the National Center for Health Statistics within the National Vital Statistics Collaborative Program (VSCP), which includes all 50 states, the District of Columbia, New York City, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands.
