The Nuts and Bolts of Service and Resource Sharing

Events
September 25th 3:00 PM EDT — 4:00 PM EDT

About the Event

As health departments seek solutions to increase capacity, provide the Foundational Public Health Services, and more effectively deliver services, service and resource sharing approaches (SRSAs) offer a solution that can be modified to meet statewide priorities and support local needs. SRSAs are formal or informal agreements designed to share insights, expertise, techniques, and tools across organizational boundaries; they may be short term, as needed, or long term in order to change the infrastructure of a public health system.

This first learning session will provide examples of state level/systemwide, regional/district, and local approaches. Additionally, there will be space for participants to discuss how such approaches can be initiated and implemented and to explore other examples, challenges, wins, and questions from peers. If you are attending to advance your PHIG efforts, we encourage you to review your PHIG workplan in advance to identify areas where SRSAs might be beneficial.
