Public health transformation efforts, supported in part by the CDC’s Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG), provide an important platform for needed improvements and innovations across public health systems. Service and resource sharing (SRS) is a tool that can maximize available resources between departments and across systems, enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Foundational Public Health Services (FPHS) delivery, and better prepare health departments to meet accreditation standards. Join the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) and Guidehouse for two 60-minute webinars that will focus on SRS strategies that address common data modernization/DMI challenges and needs. Speakers will provide overviews of SRS and data modernization/DMI and how they connect to PHIG activities. Participants will hear examples illustrating key components of data modernization/DMI (Part 1 will feature people, processes, finance, and sustainability, while Part 2 will feature systems and technology), and will have the opportunity to their own experiences/needs.
