Introducing Engagement for Equity: Community Engagement Tools for Health Departments

The people who experience the greatest health inequities are routinely shut out of the decisions that most impact them. Engagement for Equity is about flipping that script and changing how governmental public health professional approach community engagement – embodying a way of thinking focused on shifting power to make and influence decisions. In this webinar, Health Resources in Action (HRiA) will introduce Engagement for Equity and the featured resources and tools to support the public health community and government officials in seeing community engagement practice as core to its identity – not simply a tactic or activity that comes and goes.
