As part of the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG), the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) in partnership with the National Evaluation Team (NET) has supported a team at the Consortium for Workforce Research in Public Health (CWORPH) to provide a national estimate of public health workers across local, state, and federal agencies. This 2024 workforce enumeration provides updates to the last enumeration study conducted in 2012. This webinar will focus on the tripartite methodology (total counts enumeration, occupational profiles, and novel public health nursing data enumeration), describe how this project relates to other workforce data collection efforts, and will explain the implications/action steps for a research-based audience. This webinar, hosted by PHAB in collaboration with CDC and CWORPH, will take place virtually, October 16 from 12:00-1:00pm EST.
