Strategic workforce planning provides health departments with an opportunity to align workforce action items related to recruitment, retention, professional development, employee well-being, and improved organizational performance. Join PHAB, ASTHO and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Public Health, Office of Public Health Practice on November 21st at 3:30pm EST as they share three new tools to support health departments in their strategic workforce planning efforts. Participants will be introduced to a comprehensive workforce planning guide, a workforce plan template that is aligned with the Standards and Measures for Initial Accreditation, and a workforce planning facilitator guide.
