The Health Equity & Social Justice (HESJ) Team at NACCHO offers the Roots of Health Inequity Online Course Series! The course explores topics such as the historical influences of public health, root causes related to race, gender, and class struggles, and building power to advance equity in public health practice. The updated platform allows users to tailor their learning experience, listen to stories from the field, and facilitate group conversations about the content, online and in person.

Join the HESJ team for the Roots of Health Inequity Workshop on Wednesday, October 16th, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET. Attendees will be introduced to new features and collaborative learning components of the course series through a live demonstration of the Roots platform and one of its modules.
